The access is very easy since the operation system recognizes the tool automatically and displays it in the list as exchangeable hardware.
The accessed tools should be disconnected the following way:
You can disconnect the accessed pen drives by clicking on the icon Disconnect hardware safely'. On the pop-up icon you have to choose USB background depository' and click on the shut-down button. Then the tool can be disconnected safely. Please do not remove 'O2Micro USB Smart Card Reader' from the list since it refers to the inbuilt card reader in the keyboard (see picture). If you remove it, you cannot use the card reader until you0 restart the computer, therefore no user can sign in the workstation. Only data storing tools (pen drive or mobile hard disk) can be accessed to the USB port, no other peripheral device can be accessed. |
